I've tried to keep this Podomatic site just for my mixes but, for once, I'm putting up one of the bootlegs I'm working on. I think this one warrants a little broader audience. :)
"Titanium" is an amazing piece but, as it's very mainstream, it gets played to death. Here it is now, in a fresher form, bootlegged with one of my all time favourite tracks.
See if you can guess what that track is! ;)
Freerunner 22 - "Twunt" (May 12)
Music is about harmony and dissonance. Expectation and resolution. Tension and release.
Taken as separate entities, parts of a track can come across as harsh and uncouth. Blend them together - like so - and from them may come something that sounds just right, even to the untrained ear.
This is true for many things, not just music. Take two words like "twit" and "runt". Neither such words should ever be used in polite company. However, I could use the word "TWUNT" all day long and even Gran wouldn't blush. (Bless her.)
[Please note - all the files you download from here are HIGH QUALITY MP3s. I pay good pennies so you can appreciate it exactly as it was meant to be listened to!]
Freerunner 21 - "Tactile" (Feb 12)
The dirty kind of music that'll make you want to touch yourself in the morning. A Freerunner specialty, no less!
If you're liking this podcast - make sure to download some of the others. Search iTunes for Freerunner, or download direct from the website at http://freerunner.dj
Freerunner 20 - Baaa Bumhug (Dec 11)
Snuff out the candles, put away the fingerless gloves - and warm yourself up with a little festive dancing. 'Tis the Season!
Humbug? Fuck it - take a handful!

Freerunner 19 - "Chill Your Beans" (Dec 11)
Freerunner's first chillout album. This is purely a one off to showcase some of the really good, but laid-back tracks in his repertoire.
Be ready for some classics in some very different settings!
Freerunner 17 - Dance with the Devil
Hot on the heels of his appearance at Freakshow this October, here is Freerunner's latest dirty, vocal and fiendishly catchy offering.
Freerunner 16 - House of Ill Repute (Sep 11)
Have you ever listened to a really good podcast and felt a little sad at the end when the last track comes on? An hour is just NEVER enough.
Well Freerunner now brings you an EXTENDED podcast of over two hours of dirty, vocal tech house to keep your earbuds tingling.
If you enjoy, PLEASE post a link on your profile and pass it to your friends. Maybe I'll end up playing at a nightclub near you!
Freerunner 15 - Tectonics
Music doesn't have to obey the rules - which is why it can blind-side you so easily. You think it is going to do one thing... and suddenly it does completely the opposite. And this is why it excites us! It circles around you patiently and then, just when you a lulled into letting your guard down, it darts right at you and hits you on the button. And then you wait for it to do it again....
Thirteen has always been one of my lucky numbers. And I've definitely struck lucky here - this stuff is my crafting of all the best Tech House has to offer right now, into a podcast which is summery, pumping and uplifting.
Get down the park and enjoy!
Freerunner 12 - Carpe Noctem (Apr 11)
I've been busy this month. I've got good tunes coming out of my ears right now. And it's only fair that I share the love by putting them into yours.
Expect to hear a lot from Freerunner in the next few months - it's time to up the game to yet another level....
Freerunner 10 - "Naughty Step"
Even Chuck Norris agrees that this podcast is tuff enough. (Grannies on the bus will hate the funky bass riffs and may get punchy. Listen at your own risk!)
It gets better! Keeping my promise of giving you only the dirtiest beats, this time there's a definite upbeat Spanish lilt to proceedings. You'll see! :O)
The Freerunner name has become synonymous with dirty and vocal Tech House.
His music is performed, not just played. It comes from inside the DJ, and not just his decks.
If he can’t stand still, you can be certain he won’t allow you to, either. They say that you should never trust a skinny chef? Well, nor should you trust a DJ who won’t dance to his own music!
After growing up the hard way, on the unforgiving council estates of Liverpool, Freerunner’s talent now thrives in the musical hotbed of Manchester.
The former Army Officer discovered his boundless appetite for music when studying to be a Sound Engineer at SSR. Combining the technical brains of a scientist, the trained ear of a musician and a soldier’s passion – a DJ has emerged who crafts his material with precision, perfect harmony and self-belief.
